Dushu Lake Christian Church is located in Suzhou Industrial Park by the side of the beautiful Dushu Lake. Its construction began in 2008. The Christian church held a ceremony to announce its official opening on May 28. With a floorage of 5,619 square meters, the Gothic architectural style complex comes in three parts featuring the main building, the pastor’s building and the bell tower. The first floor of the main building houses four small chapels with an individual capacity for more than 200 church goers, while the second floor is the 1,000-people main chapel. The colorful stained glass characterized by magnificent patterns is reflection of the Christian culture. Dushu Lake Christian Church appeals to the believers of various nationalities in Suzhou by offering a holy place for religious activities, and also contributes to the culture cultivation of Suzhou Industrial Park.
