Suzhou Direction Finding Team won 14 gold medals

  Yesterday, the 2018 National Youth Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championships came to a close in Guanyun County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. Suzhou Direction Finding Team won 14 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 10 bronze medals, refreshing its best record in the national competitions.

  At the 2018 National Youth Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championships, there were 228 teams and 1226 athletes from across the country. Six events and ten groups were set up. The events included radio making, 144MHz individual event, 3.5MHz individual event, 144MHz relay event, 3.5MHz relay event and fast direction finding. Selected by Suzhou Third Youth Amateur Sports School, the teams consisted of 8 groups of 34 athletes from schools including Suzhou Higher Vocational and Technical School and Suzhou Yangshan Experimental Junior High School.

  In the competition, Suzhou Direction Finding Team won 14 gold medals, 12 silver medals and 10 bronze medals in 144MHz individual event, 3.5MHz individual event and other events.

  Suzhou Direction Finding Team ranked top both in the number of gold medals and team total scores at Jiangsu Province Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championships in early July.
